The Art of Song Deconstructed: Angels and Demons
Michelle will again join pianist Susan Morton for a recital program at the Hudson Opera House in
upstate New York! This recital is Part 2, the "Angelic" side of the "Angels and Demons" theme that is
being explored. (Baritone Leroy Davis presented his "Demons" side on April 9, 2011)

A performance and discussion with Diamond Opera Theater Artistic Director Mary Deyerle Hack.
The performance is followed by a discussion to deconstruct the program, discovering why certain pieces
were chosen and how the singer fits the songs to his or her voice. Followed by a reception and a chance
to meet the artists.

International Vocal Arts Institute - Montreal
Michelle is especially looking forward to attending the International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI) in
Montreal this summer! A program created by Joan Dornemann, Assistant Conductor for the
Metropolitan Opera and featuring staff from the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro all Scala, New York City
Opera, and the Opera de Montreal, it focuses on intense training for young singers as well as
performance opportunities.

Ektor - World Premiere
George Tsouris' new opera, "Ektor" had its world premiere at the Wings Theater in New York City on
