| Other News | WINNER - 3rd Prize! 10th Annual Marie Kraja International Opera Competition |
| Ms. Trovato won 3rd Prize of 2.000 Euros in the 10th Annual Marie Kraja International | |
| Opera Competition in Albania. | |
| Ms. Trovato was selected as one of 20 semi-finalists to compete in the Marie Kraja | |
| International Opera Competition in Tirana. She traveled to Albania to sing with the | |
| Symphonic Orchestra or Tirana for their festival on November 8 and 9, 2009. | |
| She was announced as one of the 10 finalists and sang again with the orchestra on the | |
| 2nd night of performance. The evening she was announced winner of the 3rd Prize and | |
| presented with a certificate. | |
| The judges for this competition included representatives from La Scala, Italy, | |
| Gran Teatro del Liceu, Spain; Opera Europe; and Opera Theater Netherlands. The | |
| performances were broadcast live by the Albanian National Public Television and via | |
| satellite in Europe and the U.S. |

| New! | Winner! Opera Index, Inc. Encouragement Grant Award |
| Ms. Trovato sang in the final round of the Opera Index, Inc. Competition on Thursday, | |
| October 15, 2009 at Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. As a winner of an | |
| Encouragement Award, Ms. Trovato will sing in an upcoming Opera Index, Inc. event and | |
| receive a career grant. |

| Michelle Trovato won the hearts and votes of the audience during the competition finals | |
| at the Ellen Eccles Theatre in Logan, Utah on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. | |
| The judges agreed, and the young soprano will proceed to represent the U.S. in the | |
| Concorso Internazionale di Canto Lirico in Alessandria, Italy in the finals concert on | |
| December 13, 2009, sponsored by the Utah Festival Opera Company. | |

| Other News: | Winner! Schuyler Foundation for Career Bridges Grant Award. |
| Ms. Trovato was selected as a winner of a 2009 Schuyler Foundation for Career Bridges | |
| Grant Award. Career Bridges provides three years of grants to each individual based on the | |
| recommendations of 25 highly regarded members of the operatic profession. | |
| These grants include coaching in diction, language, repertory, and stage development. | |
| Further grants include career guidance, performance opportunities, opera workshops and | |
| assistance in career promotion. |

| As a singer in the Opera Colorado Outreach Ensemble during the 2007-2008 season, the young | |
| soprano appeared in nearly 100 performances, masterclasses (both teacher and student) and | |
| other events during her residency. |
